Israel Is Officially in the U.S. Visa Waiver Program Effective Immediately
|
|
Following Israel's inclusion in the U.S.
Visa Waiver Program, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced
earlier today that, with immediate effect, eligible Israeli citizens can now
enjoy visa-free short-term travel to the United States. This will be achieved
by seeking authorization through the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP)
Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).

|
|
|
As a result, Israeli citizens can now
visit the United States for up to 90 days without requiring a visa, streamlining
the previously lengthy and costly visa application process, a step
which further strengthens the security, economic and people-to-people ties
between the United States and Israel.
